In the film, Eliza was estranged from society and her encounter with the creature helped liberate her into becoming a beautiful and free being. The concept for this main title design is the transformation of a phoenix to portray Eliza’s freedom and form.



The bioluminescent element is an important detail because it represents the creature’s ability to heal.
Each frame focuses on the expanding element that eventually reveal Eliza’s transformation.
